Volunteer for the Synod Assembly! The Scranton Wilkes-Barre
Mission District Needs Your Help This
year’s Synod Assembly will be hosted in our area at the Mohegan Sun Arena
(Wachovia Arena) in Wilkes-Barre on June
18 and 19 and volunteers are needed from each of the churches in the
mission district in order to make the event a warm and welcoming
success. Volunteers are badly needed,
so if you are willing to volunteer one or two days and make a difference for

Service Grant Each year our synod gives grants to congregations and
individuals in congregations who have a passion for ministry and who would
appreciate financial support for their ministry. Ministries funded in the past by these
grants have ranges from ministries to the poor to audio/visual
ministries. Witness and Service grant
applications are available and may be filled out at any time. Do not let an old due date on the
