Saturday, May 1^st 2010, The Scranton Wilkes-Barre Mission District will hold its annual Ministry Festival and annual meeting. Bishop Zeiser will lead the morning’s worship and Bible Study and help us learn more about our book of faith through the process of struggling. The program is designed to promote a soon-to-be-married couple’s relationship by deepening mutual understanding, strengthening communication skills, and encouraging meaningful dialogue. This is a two-week series on Saturdays March 6 & 20, from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. In case of cancellation due to inclement weather, there will be a make-up date on March 27.

Each year our synod gives grants to congregations and individuals in congregations who have a passion for ministry and who would appreciate financial support for their ministry. Ministries funded in the past by these grants have ranges from ministries to the poor to audio/visual ministries. Witness and Service grant applications are available and may be filled out at any time. Do not let an old due date on the application dissuade you. Check out the grant application.
